However, it is important to understand that no dog accessory is indestructible. Regular inspection and maintenance of our products are essential to ensure their continued safety and effectiveness.

Suitability and Use

Supervision: We recommend that all products be used under supervision. It is the responsibility of the pet owner to ensure the suitability of each product for their specific dog and usage conditions.
Wear and Tear: Dogs, especially those with strong chewing habits or those that engage in vigorous play, can cause significant wear and tear on accessories. Regularly check for signs of damage or wear and replace items as necessary.
Misuse: We do not cover damage caused by misuse or neglect, including but not limited to chewing, biting, or any other destructive behaviour by your dog.

Product Variability and Specifications

Sizing and Fit: Ensure you select the correct size for your dog using our size guides. Proper fit is crucial for the safety and effectiveness of our accessories. The purchaser is responsible for double checking they are purchasing the right size, exchanges can only be made if the item is in spotless, resaleable condition.

Dye Transfer Warning

Due to the nature of textiles, slight variations in colour, texture and pattern placement may occur between production batches. While we are not aware of any dye transfer issues with our materials, we recommend taking reasonable care when using coloured fabrics on light-coloured or delicate surfaces.

We are not currently aware of any issues with dye transfers with any of our materials, however in the event that some dye is transferred to any surfaces, we are not responsible for any damages caused by dye transfer, and professional cleaning costs will not be covered in future incidents.

Liability and Warranty

General wear and tear, including but not limited to damage caused by chewing, biting, or misuse, is not covered under our warranty. Only genuine manufacturing defects will be considered for inspection and potential replacement. We are not liable for damages incurred from dye transfer issues or improper use of the products.

The Travel Hound products are designed for everyday adventures using carefully selected, high-quality materials. However, no dog accessory is indestructible.

It is the owner's responsibility to ensure each product is suitable for their dog, to use it appropriately, inspect it regularly and discontinue use if it becomes damaged. We recommend supervising your dog when introducing any new product, particularly if they are prone to chewing or destructive behaviour.

Wear and Tear: Our warranty covers genuine manufacturing defects only. It does not cover normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, neglect, failure to follow our care instructions, or damage caused by chewing, biting or other destructive behaviour.
Owner Responsibility: It is the owner's responsibility to ensure each product is suitable for their dog, to use it appropriately, inspect it regularly and discontinue use if it becomes damaged.
